Fight, argue, stand firm, but for what?

Fight, argue, stand firm, but for what?

Life is not just about breathing; the way of living should also be big.

Have you ever thought about what things we get upset about throughout the day? Whether it’s a disagreement with the flour vendor, resentment towards the car owner, or the mistreatment of a beggar or a child, our anger can take many forms. And then the day ends with fatigue, confusion, and a dull heart. Why? We have selected minor conflicts for ourselves.

We have spent our energies, our emotional intensity, our youth, and our intellect on things that have no purpose or weight.

Abandon small battles; fight for a great cause.

1. Small-mindedness creates small dreams.

When a person’s purpose is limited, his ideology is petty, and his thinking is small, he always gets entangled in little things.

A person who does not see the big problems of life, he shouts at the shortcomings of a taxi driver.

A person without a significant goal tends to argue while waiting in line at the market.

Such people die like insects in life; no one remembers them.

Fight, argue, stand firm, but for what?

2. When the goal is big, attitudes change automatically.

When a person’s goal is only “to save honor,” he reacts to everything. But when his goal is “the welfare of the nation,” or “the pleasure of his Lord,” or “to serve humanity,” he laughs at small quarrels.

A person who lives for a big goal does not become a slave to small emotions.

3. True rebellion is that which awakens dreams.

Look at the history of the world—those who truly rebelled did not rise up over a small matter. He did not enter the field frustrated with a tea vendor. He saw an ideology, a vision, a revolution.

The sacrifice that Nelson Mandela made while in prison for 27 years was only against apartheid.

Fight, argue, stand firm, but for what?

4. A big challenge creates a wonderful person.

Allah Almighty has placed a world of potential within a person. But these are revealed only when you test yourself.

When you stand against oppression

When you clash with the world for the sake of truth

When you hold on to the truth and come face-to-face with falsehood

Then you yourself come to know the “great person” within you.

5. Where is your real place?

Are you really born only to argue with the market trader? Is the summary of your life just that “I had an argument with a person today”?

No.

The purpose of your birth is wonderful. Allah has made you the best of creation, given you intelligence, will, language, and faith.

Fight, argue, stand firm, but for what?

6. Connect yourself to a worthy cause.

Take a moment to think, what is the one thing you can fight for? What is the mission that keeps you awake at night? What is the pain that makes you restless?

The right to education

Helping orphans

Establishing justice and fairness

Calling to religion

Fighting is necessary in all these fields.

7. Success belongs to those whose dreams are big.

He who sees beyond his neck makes a name for himself in the world. He who is only a servant of his ego dies within himself.

A successful person is one who lives for others.

8. Faith is great; intention is also great.

The position of intention is very high in the sight of Allah. If your intention is

I will bring my people out of ignorance.

I will serve my religion.

I will educate the children of the Ummah.

Then Allah will definitely provide you with the means, time, and strength needed.

Noise does not win every war. Sometimes silence is the greatest victory.

The Quran states:

“وَاصْبِرْ وَمَا صَبْرُكَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ”

(An-Nahl: 127)

Be patient, and your patience is only with the help of Allah.

If it were necessary to answer everything, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would have answered every insult. But his silence, patience, and forbearance won hearts.

9. If you have to , fight against oppression.

If you have to fight, then

Fight against poverty.

Fight against ignorance.

Fight against insensitivity.

Fight against Satan.

Fight against yourself.

These are the real battles.

This is the real jihad.

10. Know yourself, not your time, but your abilities.

If you only believe that “I can’t do anything,” then you will really do nothing.

But if you accept that “Allah has chosen me for a special work,” then you can change the world. If your silence can prevent a great loss, then that is the greatest bravery.

Your intention in the eyes of the Lord is the real battle. Why did you fight? Why did you quarrel? Why did you not tolerate it? Why did you forgive? Or why did you take revenge?

Hadith:

“Actions are judged by intentions.” (Bukhari)

It is the intention that turns a person’s daily actions into worship and turns someone’s outstanding good deeds into hypocrisy.

So now the decision is yours:

What you fight for becomes your identity.

History remembers only those who fought for a noble cause.

Are you fighting only for your own temporary ego? Are you fighting for something that will bring you honor in history?

The real fight is for the pleasure of your Lord.

If you fight, feel, and decide for Allah’s pleasure, you win even if you lose. And if Allah is angry, then you lose even if you win.

Quran:

“وَرِضْوَانٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ”

(At-Tawbah: 72)

And the pleasure of Allah is the greatest.

Example of Hazrat Bilal:

When burning stones were placed on his chest, and it was said, “Accept Lat and Uzza,” he had only one word on his tongue: “Ahad! Ahad!” (One! One!)

This fight is the real war. This is a war that grants you eternal life. This is the war that takes you to the ultimate level of servitude. Engage in a battle where your desire is to please your Lord, not to impress others, and you will emerge victorious in both this world and the Hereafter.

Fight, argue, stand firm, but for what?

Result:

The day your fight becomes great, life becomes great.

Take time, think, and stop. Ask yourself:

What am I wasting time on?

What is my real purpose?

Am I spending my time on real-life disputes, or am I dedicated to a particular ideology?

The answer to this question will reveal your true identity.

Remember: Quit petty battles; fight for a greater cause!
