5 Reasons Why We Came into the World

5 Reasons Why We Came into the World

Human life is a mystery. When we were born, where we came from, and for what purpose we live—all this does not happen without a reason. We are not the result of any coincidence or accident, but rather a part of the great wisdom of Allah Almighty. 5 Reasons Why We Came into the World

1. Allah’s Will:

The first and foremost reason is Allah’s will. Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran:

“When He intends a thing, He only says to it, ‘Be,’ and it is.”

(Surah Yas, verse 82)

Our creation is not a mere genetic or scientific process but came into existence by the “doing” of Allah. If Allah had not willed it, there would have been no time, no space, no parents—nothing. 5 Reasons Why We Came into the World

2. The Test of Life:

Allah has made this world a testing ground. Every human being is tested:

“It is He who created death and life that He may test you as to which of you is best in deed.”

(Surah Al-Mulk, verse 2)

We have come to this world for a test. If it were not for this test, then our birth would have no purpose. We are here so that we may achieve success through goodness, patience, gratitude, and obedience. 5 Reasons Why We Came into the World

3. Distribution of sustenance:]

Every human being comes with his own destined sustenance. Allah Almighty says:

“On Allah is the sustenance of every living thing that moves on the earth.”

(Surah Hud, verse 6)

Our coming into this world is linked to the sustenance of some people. Some parents obtain sustenance because of us; some are blessed through us as a means. If our sustenance had not been written, we would never have come into this world. 5 Reasons Why We Came into the World

4. Continuity of lineage and relationships:

Human lineage and relationships are a link in a chain. Every human being is someone’s son, daughter, brother, sister, or parent.

“And We created you in pairs and made your lineage continue.”

(Surah An-Nahl)

We are someone’s joy, someone’s love, someone’s hope. If we were not there, this beautiful system of relationships would be incomplete. 5 Reasons Why We Came into the World

5. Source of guidance and invitation:

Allah also sends some people into the world to be a source of guidance for others:

“And let there be from you a group calling to goodness, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong.”

(Surah Al-Imran, verse 104)

Maybe one of your words, one deed, or one prayer will bring someone closer to Allah. Maybe you are the means of salvation for someone. If this were not the purpose, then perhaps Allah would not have sent you into this world. 5 Reasons Why We Came into the World

What would have happened if we had not come?

If these five reasons had not been

A mother’s prayers would have been ineffective.

A person would not have been a source of guidance.

Someone’s sustenance would have been reduced.

The system of relationships would have been incomplete.

No test would have been completed.

Our coming into this world is itself a message that we are not without purpose. We have come for a great purpose: to gain Allah’s pleasure.

Final Thought:

Life may seem like an ordinary journey, but if we understand that our coming was not without reason, we can live each day with renewed determination.

Ask yourself a question:

“Am I fulfilling the reason for my coming into this world?”

If the answer is yes, then you are fortunate. If the answer is no, then there is still time; the door of Allah is open. Ask Allah for forgiveness for your sins with a sincere heart, please, Allah, and improve your world and the hereafter.
