5 Major and 5 Minor Signs of the Day of Judgement:

Allah Almighty has informed mankind about the Day of Judgment so that they may spend their lives preparing for it. The coming of the Day of Judgement is certain, and its signs have been clearly told to us in the Hadiths and the Holy Quran. The signs of the Day of Judgement can be divided into two categories: Minor Signs and Major Signs

1. Minor Signs:

These are the signs that indicate the nearness of the Day of Judgement, and many signs have appeared so far:

1. Lack of knowledge and widespread ignorance:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

“The Day of Judgement will not be established until knowledge is taken away and ignorance prevails.” (Bukhari)

In today’s era, we see that religious knowledge is decreasing and ignorance is increasing. People are becoming more and more knowledgeable in worldly matters, but they are becoming more and more ignorant of religion.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) warned about trials. In today’s era, trials are everywhere; lies, deceit, corruption, and false news have become common.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

“In the last days, women will wear clothes that appear to be clothes, but in reality they will be naked.” (Muslim)

This hadith is very clear in today’s era, where the veil is disappearing.

Another sign is that children will start disobeying their parents and will reduce their respect. Today we can see how people are treating their parents badly.

5. The distinction between halal and haram will disappear:

Nowadays, haram things are being considered halal; usury, bribery, and fraud have become common.

1. The appearance of the Antichrist

The Antichrist will be a great temptation who will mislead people. He will claim heaven and hell, and many people will fall into his trap.

Jesus (peace be upon him) will descend to earth again and kill the Antichrist. He will establish Islam and spread justice and fairness in the world.

3. The appearance of Gog and Magog

Gog and Magog will be a great nation that will cause chaos in the world, and this nation will end with the prayer of Jesus (peace be upon him).

4. The rising of the sun from the west

This will be a great sign. When the sun rises from the west, the doors of repentance will be closed.

5. The emergence of a beast from the earth

This beast will speak to humans and tell who is a believer and who is an unbeliever.
